Qualified Supervisor (FL)
I've been on a track to becoming a counselor since high school. Along the way, I've lived in Spain and India, as well as New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida. I've taught high school English, taken up running (slowly), and acquired a dog.
I have been a practicing therapist since 2014, working in a range of settings from community mental health, schools, prison, telehealth, and hospitals, as well as private practice. Whether you're seeking counseling, supervision, or strategies for organizing data interpretation behind the scenes in your own private practice, I strive to customize my approach to the particular needs of the person in front of me.
I am primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I believe the most effective therapy is guided by the primary needs of the client and utilizes the client's natural strengths and interests in order to make progress. My therapeutic approach is holistic, friendly, warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental; my sense of humor helps clients to feel at ease.
I'm creative, organized, and curious. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and to finding out how I can help you get to where you want to be!
